I tried to install Linux Mint 18.1 on my Lenovo Flex 2 notebook computer.

I boot from USB. When I partition the hard drive, the system request for EFI Partition.

I create a 100mb partition but after the install completed, i found the system was not properly installed.

Last time I install linux mint 18 on my desktop it post no problem at all and also no need EFI partition.

May i know how can I partition my 1tB drive into 2 partition and how to deal with the EFI Partition?

If I choose erase the drive and install linux, the system will create a EFI partition as big as 500MB and won't allow me to partition my 1TB drive.

Thanks.
