Hi, when I play during video clips in my tablet from micro SD card, the video clip keeps skipping during playback. Does anyone face the same problem ? Anyway to rectify ? I'm using Toshiba 7.7" tablet. Have tried using class 10 & normal microSD cards, doesnt solve the problem. Anyone can advise ? Thanks.

More mprotantly, what's the fle type of the video? Mkv(8/10bit)? .ts, .tp? Try using 3rd player like mx player. If file format is not the problem then try loading the video into ur tablet internal memory and see if it works.

I think your tablet doesn't have the necessary video codecs to playback the video. That's one possibility. You can download MX Player and the accompanying codecs from the Google Play Store to see if it helps. Second possibility is that you're playing back videos that are higher resolution than your tablet's processor and graphics processor can take... so if you're attempting to playback full HD files or worse, 4K anime files, then your hardware may not allow you to do it even if you have the necessary codecs. That is your tablet's graphics processor cannot support decoding the video directly. This is known as hardware decoding. It's more efficient and the quality of video playback is much better. But MX player has an option to allow you to playback in software decoding part. In this case, the job of rendering the video is offloaded to the CPU, and it may playback the video but there may be some drawbacks, namely that the video quality may drop, the video may stutter, that is the framerate suffers so that the playback is not smooth. Usually software decoding will allow video playback as long as the codecs are installed but the playback may not be desirable.

Do give more information when asking for help as there are many possibilities as to why your video playback is not smooth. Your Toshiba tablet is quite capable, so I think it's more of having the correct codecs installed and choosing the correct software to playback. I could get even a cheap Galaxy Young to playback 720p mkv files, which are among the most demanding video formats to decode and playback, so I'm sure your hardware is up to it as well.
