Problem with CPU

hi everyone, been experiencing a problem with my startup time of my windows.

my computer takes at least 5 minutes to start up . i realized that when they are starting up , my keyboard and mouse would light up and then stop. afterwards, only my razer mouse would light up , but not my keyboard.

i also realized that when i off my fan which is also connected to the extension plug. the keyboard lights ( num lock ) also goes off for a few seconds and then it will light up again ( showing that it has reconnected to the CPU. )


Wondering if any pros could diagnose what is happening and anyone who has the same experience as me and had found a solution?

Me no pro but you can go to Start-Run and type in "msconfig" and go the Startup" tab and untick any background progs you don't want to auto launch when your PC boots up.

As for your fan off/keyboard light up problem, I don't know why but is your keyboard also a Razer? You can try uninstalling and reinstalling Razer Synapse 2.0. Failing which, you can try to create a new profile in Razer as your existing one may be corrupted (happened to me, the keyboard keys don't light up because my profile corrupted, after I created a new one, it works liow). Replace the extension plug or direct connect to wall socket to test.

im using a rosewill mechanical keyboard. not sure of what is really going on though. even when i take the keyboard out manually and plug it back , it takes ages to detect the USB.

Try use your Windows CD to do a startup repair. I had problem with my PC detecting USB devices sometime back too but after reinstalling Windows it's back to normal. As for your fan problem just use the power adaptor for your computer devices only I guess. I use to have a standing fan which shares the same power adaptor as my computer devices but it posed no issues.
