Problem with mobo or psu?

Hi all, i am having problem with my 2yo rig. Was working fine last night but somehow this evening, after returning home from work when i went to power up the desktop, it gives continuous beep. I went to reseat the ram, graphic card and even cpu to give it applying new thermal paste, problem persisted. I power down it, and intend to take out the ram pc by pc to test, but suddenly it just refused to power up anymore. No power to the mobo at all. I had checked my power socket and even replaced cable, still the same

anyone here got face this prob before or had any idea whats wrong?

no sequence, continuous beeping when power on.

could indicate a fault with the power supply, some loose card/ RAM or the board circuit is shorted somewhere... i recommend test out the rig with another PSU if u have..

Well i do not have a extra psu to test. I research the issue it might be due to memory error? hopefully is the psu and not mobo

used to have this issue....mobo gone...you might want to change the cmos battery if there is any

most likely mobo gone...
btw, how old is your mobo?

Hi all, thanks for the kind advices.

Managed to bring my system down to a friend place to test and found out that both PSU and Mobo gone. Got replacement from tradepac today, just managed to get it running and bought a new CPU as well since i have some spare cash currently.

Hopefully my new partial upgrade can last me another 3-4years
