problem with ram usage

I have this issue since I upgraded my motherboard, processor and ram.

The ram usage keep on increasing even though I did not start any new programs during the time I am using the pc. Was just surfing net and playing some Facebook games.

It will keep on increasing until it hit 100% and it will cause problem in the running of the existing program I am using and may even closed off the program. And when I try to reopen the program, I got the error msg of "insufficient system resources exist to complete requested service"

can help to advise what is wrong?

Facebook games is flash type webpage. Over time if it does not close off it will continue to eat more rams.

I just checked the system resources under the memory tab. I added up all the memory used by the programs listed there and it is only slightly over 1GB but the memory in use show more than 4GB, so where the other 3GB goes to?

No one knows what the problem? Everything is the same, the programs I am running and the hardware less the new motherboard, ram and processor. So the problem should be either one of the 3 items that I had replaced?

i would suggest you to do a malware scan.

Check using task manager, how many processes running in the background?

Are you using a motherboard with Killer LAN?

Most likely malware problem.

I am not too sure on the part about killer LAN. I am using Gigabyte Z87X-UD5H. This motherboard comes with killer LAN?

I am not sure what's causing the problem.

If you are using Windows 8, try searching for the NDU.sys memory leak thread I have created in Hardware Clinic.

See if that solve your problem.
