Problem with witcher 3

Hi, i'm having spike lags/jerky while playing witcher 3. However, my fps is constantly around 60-70 plus. Is there anything wrong with my setup?

What settings are you on?

I am getting about 60+ fps on Ultra settings at 1440p.

But it stutters badly.

Need to wait for more updated optimised drivers for the current batch of GARBAGE drivers from nvidia!!!

I'm on ultra 1080p. Not really badly. But you could feel its stuttering. :\

Yeah probably its drivers problem. Wait for newer drivers or Witcher 3 patches.

sorry to hijack.
is anyone getting mini freezes/pauses? very random, can happen after playing 15min, or after few hrs. can be in game, inventory or cutscenes. everything stops/pauses for 5-10s, then continues/unpauses & not happen again until some other random time.
i'm running 1.06, not using client or any overlays.

im in mobile mode so i cant see your rig..

if you are using 60hz monitor... cap the framerate to 60fps... stuttering could be caused by your mon not drawing the images fast enough

What I get once in awhile is that the screen freezes, but the music/sound doesn't. I can still interact/move, just with a frozen screen. Always have to force quit.

A few times (but less than 6 occurrence throughout) esp with sudden movement / entering new area.

Anyway already finish the whole game except for 1-2 bug mission. Just remember to save regularly.

wah feeling very lucky i'm not facing any issues so far with this game. the only hiccup was when i have bad artifacts but that was just botched overclocking. are you guys using the nvidia recommended game settings?

I stuck in main quest. Vernon Roche stood still at campfire. Lol

Actually come to think of it, witcher 3 is poorly optimized for any AMD cards out there, and come to think of it NV cards also have issues with slight sluggish performance either.

Ya lo ya lo.. borrowed my friend's card to plug into my system. Even at 1080p with reduced settings also will stutter abit even though the avg fps is high. When that uncle is not moving, the graphics is sibei chio. When he moves..

No stuck no artifacts no hang whatsoever.. just minor stuttering nia. Doesn't look buttery smooth that's all. Anyway family matters quest is a pain in the @ss

rather not use them. optimal settings set at low/medium get 60 fps.

I set myself at high still 60 fps
