Problematic computer part 2! BSOD during game

HI Guys,

so sorry to trouble again! previously i mentioned that my cpu rocketed. i fixed it by re-sitting the hsf and worked perfectly now.

However, now i have installed all the latest drivers, i faced several frustrating BSOD issues!! argh!

I have the minidump logs below for the BSOD. never have i faced such issues back when i have winxp and win7.

i checked online, reinstall windows, graphics card driver all to no avail!!.. sigh... anyone can help?

Worst come to worst, any bros to reco any repair shop i can park the computer with to check?

Hi. I have an Asus Z170 Deluxe motherboard.
My advice that I can give you is that, never install any Asus drivers on your PC. Windows 10 will work just fine without them. If you need to make any BIOS changes, just enter UEFI and do it. Don't use their softwares. They introduce weird anomalies to my PC rendering it unstable and booting slowly at times too.

Next driver to avoid like a plague, Intel Chipset drivers. Do not install any of them. It will bog your CPU down to a crawl. Happened for my previous Alienware PC too.

Windows 10 is able to adapt to your hardware very well and my PC runs great without any of the hardware drivers and software except for Nvidia drivers and my Samsung SSD magician software. Even my Asus external WiFi and Bluetooth antenna doesn't need a WiFi driver to be recognized and my Bluetooth as well. But if yours doesn't recognize it, then it should be fine to install the Bluetooth drivers.

If you have already installed them and now facing all these BSOD problems, the only way is to do a fresh install. You can't even use the Reset My PC as the hardware will still be acting weird. So ya. Through my constant testing and numerous re-installation to confirm my theory, I have now encountered no issues whatsoever.

When I did the fresh installation with the bootable USB windows, i will still need to install the lan driver from Asus website in order for me to be able to connect to the Internet.

Thereafter you are suggesting to only update everything else via the windows update function?

since you are using intel lan, you can get the latest drivers version 21.1 from intel website

but this computer is brand new. the only programmes inside are just CSGo and Overwatch. so Bittorrent is not the cause.

Could be but more to memory leak side and drivers.

Take out your memory and re-sit them. Try one stick at a time.

Resit your graphic card and install the latest geforce driver.

I had the same problem on windows 8. reformat also same problem, so can't be driver issue.

In the end just change graphics card

Install whichever hardware is not working. But USB should already be working by default. Or else, how did you install your Windows 10 correct?

Windows 10 has their own database of Drivers. So yes. Even Nvidia drivers will be installed from there.
Nvidia's drivers do not have any issue right now since I am on the latest drivers. But if you do encounter it, then it may be time for you to get your GPU checked.

Mind if I ask, did you connect your Display port cable from the motherboard or the Nvidia GPU?
You must connect it from the GPU side. Also, if you buy the cable from SLS, you probably kena conned. It will have issues such as screen constantly flickering. Buy from Curve Cables instead. Search them up online. They have DP 1.2 cables.

Windows 10 is not like previous Windows. It will recognize most if not, all of your hardware. Don't know why you are making it sound so complicated.
Just install drivers for hardware that is not being recognized and that is it. No need for any other Asus motherboard's drivers.
