Hello there, I am hoping to see if somebody has encountered the same problem/has a solution to my problem.

The graphic setting from Witcher 3 is as from NVDIA geforce experience however while playing I will encounter "DVI no signal" error (there is still sound in the background playing), I realised that when I alt-tab to the desktop, display comes back on. (It seems like alt-tabbing is a hot-fix, however it's quite irritating if the dvi no signal keeps coming back on).

Such error doesn't pop up when i play games like dota 2

I have tried changing DVI cables, HDMI port also has same problem, tried connecting to both the DVI jacks on the back of CPU (still same problem).

My setup are as follow:

intel i5-4460 gigabyte
gskill 16gb ddr4
Asus GTX 970 strix 4gb
samsung SSD 250gb
WD 1TB blue
superflower leadex 650W silver
OS-Win10
Monitor - ASUS VG248 QE

Any solutions would be much appreciated.

Did u try on a different TV/monitor to see if the HDMI is working? I believe the VG248QE has a displayport connector, same goes for the ASUS 970. You may try to buy a DP cable and try.

If problem still persists, then there is a problem with the display ports on your gpu liao. Can go RMA.
