Product Boxes - What do you guys do with them?

I just keep everything.

I try to keep everything but sometimes the combination of mum's death-glare and heavy machine gun nag causes some to be thrown away ToT

I do throw away things more then 2 years old

Erm yes and no.

Depends on buyer. If they "gey gao" then yes it somehow affects. Haha.

I will only keep the boxes for the expensive parts like motherboard cpu gfx and psu. Throw boxes after warranty over.

Why? Cos that mobo is a special edition, first consumer board with black PCB.

i got those ikea plastic boxes which i use to keep boxes of pc hardware in case need to sell. as they are almost air tight, no much issues with keeping them in good condition.

somehow with box can sell $50 more from experience although I never understood why esp for 2nd hand stuff that left 1 year ish warranty when its just going into your pc and prob gonna use till no more warranty.

I prefer buying from people with full box and accessories.

The feeling when you get an item with its full packaging (yes even 2nd hand) is much better (imo) then just getting the item itself. It just have a better psychological effect.

That said I do keep all my boxes as well. Some things maybe don't need to keep say monitor, case boxes and those boxes that look like just an everyday box or something. For everything else, I just keep them. Unless you own a few rigs you shouldn't have that many no?

Out of warranty throw.
Still under warranty keep.

i put all the box inside the case box. just nice to fit all

haha doubt they will have much resale value at this point

usually use my parts until they spoil and can't RMA
