Why so many patterns? I thought his colleagues said just need to wait for current wave to peak then things will stabilized after that?

How did the fake news narrative that asymptomatic do not spread virus come about?

On 25 Feb 2020, NCID claimed there was no proof of asymptomatic transmission of virus.

But the "experts" and PAP Ministers force hospitals to do PCR testing for all visitors and patients.

Since they claimed no proof of asymptomatic tranmission, they should only do PCR testing on symptomatic visitors and patients right?

By 1 Apr 2020, CDC MMWR published article on Singapore 243 cases detected in 7 clusters, and 6.4% were likely presymptomatic tranmission.

I don't believe other countries only count those with acute symptoms.
If that is the case, their healthcare system would have collapsed long ago.

Professor Ooi Eng Eong of Duke-NUS said lumping together people who test positive but have no symptoms along with those who are seriously ill "creates unnecessary alarm in many people".

He suggested Singapore follows the World Health Organisation's definition of Covid-19 which counts only those with "symptoms indicative of acute illness".

The way Singapore counts its numbers, he said, "confuses other countries, such as the United States Centres for Disease Control". On at least two occasions, the US CDC had wrongly concluded that Singapore's Covid-19 situation was out of control, and warned its people against travelling here.

Prof Ooi and other experts The Straits Times spoke to were equally surprised by the delay in streamlining measures, though they said that the trend of people rushing to hospital emergency departments after testing positive could have contributed to the decision.

This rush to get tested at hospitals will also push up case numbers.

Hospitals already face heavier than normal workloads with seriously-ill Covid-19 patients. There is needless extra stress when they need to augment staff to deal with people who are not sick, but turn up at the emergency department.

Ask him fk off lah. Those without symptoms are not even in the statistics. Go ask OYK how much more cases were concealed with his 1,2 and 3 protocol.

Tons of people in office now is report office ownselves WFH.

On what basis did the "experts" from MOH and NCID believe the WHO?

When the WHO advisory was based on what China said?

https://www.channelnewsasia.com/singapore/wuhan-virus-coronavirus-aerosol-transmission-moh-776121

Both Hong Kong and Taiwan did not believe China. They immediately told their citizens to wear mask, and social distance.

By Apr 2020 Singapore already knew the Wuhan virus could be spread by presymptomatic transmission. Even CDC MMWR published Singapore findings.
