Try this:

Tel: 6223 6787
Fax: 6223 7262

Umm, yup i just checked all my the letter-heads from Liberty Law. That *should* be the right number to reach him at... (i say "should" because i've never actually dialled that number before, but i fear if i give out Selva's cellphone and direct line number, he'll probably kill me for it :) )

wow, i wonder why is drew and napier (a so-called reputable law firm) representing them???

well, go easy on the Drew & Napier guys ok...? i'm sure it was nothing personal against me. it cld've been any other sad sack that got kicked around...

besides, everyone's got to make a living somehow, right? it's probably just that perhaps somewhere along the way people (in general) tend to forget that money's not everything in life..?

sometimes some people may just have simply forgotten the inherent dignity, honour and privilege of being a good lawyer?

after all, in the words of winston churchill "We make a living by what we get, but we make a life by what we give."

Hey vocallocal,

I'm glad you managed to get your money back from Profitable Plots. I know of someone who also invested in Profitable Plots when they went to Malaysia to try and market their products. The someone ended up investing money into the account. When the contract was up, Profitable Plots at first also did not want to give back the money at all. I can't remember what the guy did, but he managed to get back his money back plus interest I think. The only thing though as they converted at such a lousy currency rate that in the end he actually loss money.

Profitable Plots should just go bankrupt, with their deceptive and misleading practices.

eh... sorry davidkohcw, something must've gotten jumbled up along the way... y'see, Profitable Plots told the judge they owed me money and we hope they would settle an exchange rate to pay me eventually.... but uh... that's not quite happened yet? so technically, i haven't gotten my money back yet :slant:

re: bankruptcy, well... it wld be most ideal if that happens sometime *after* everyone gets their money back with 12.5% interest :s13:

i wonder will D&N get paid, lol :s13:

well i'm pretty sure they will be, otherwise it'd be kinda ironic for Profitable Plots to get sued by their own law firm... "et tu, brute?" classic, haha! :D

i reckon it probably just means some other shmoe won't get paid when their contract matures in May

Yes, the number works.

He must be getting a lot of calls because when I called up and asked whether the line belongs to Liberty Law , the receptionist immediately asked whether I was looking for Selva. :D

Hi,

Has anyone heard of Profitable Group before?

They also offer land banking, just like Walton but is in UK land.

Is this company reliable / credible? Anyone invested in them before? Mind sharing yr experiences.

i personally wont trust land banking as i have seen HERE in oz, huge piece of land at some God-forsaken place are selling for a song, but these company converted into "quality land" for foreign investment. if they are so good, why wont the local take it up? if so, u should do your homework and go to the country that u are keen on to purchase the land and get more information from the direct agents instead. Here in oz, there are rules and laws about sales misrepresentation and they can be punished with heavy fine and license revoke. But you wont get that in SG.

furthermore, all the good lands had been snapped up by the developers so those that are marketed in sg are in some remote place that u wont see any development in the next 10-20 years, if any!

it is always "Buyer Beware!"

What is next ?

...Profitable Plots told the judge they owed me money and we hope they would settle an exchange rate to pay me eventually.... but uh... that's not quite happened yet? so technically, i haven't gotten my money back yet :slant:

So what is next step - If am correct they have to pay your legal fees and they have admitted (after 9 months) that they DO owe you money. But they have not yet paid you anything.

Are there further legal steps or do they just have to propose a rate to you within a certain period of time ?

BTW dont respond on this if you think it weakens your case or options in any way. Get them for everything you can.

today in raffles plc a pretty young thing in mini skirt and heels tried to 'introduce' me to an exclusive ''unbelievable investement'' opportunity, i told her if it's so good she should keep it for herself, close friends and family. Why sell to all and sundry.
If it sounds to good to be true' it usually is!

Hi vocallocal,

Thank you for keeping us updated. It must have been a nightmare for you to go through all of these.I wonder why PG cannot do business properly, when they are at fault they should just admit it and try to resolve it (give a reasonable payment date and stick with it). No need to put too much drama surround it. We all have our own things to do so going to court over and over is just a waste of time and money (of course later on legal fees will be born by PG, but that's not the point), not even mentioning emotional pressure this causes.
I really can't understand why a company rewarded with a Singapore Quality Certification turns out to be like this. I'm a foreigner here and I used to think that the government here is strict in giving licence.

SG today is very different from SG in the past ~
nowadays their approach is "your eyes are open", meaning wat? means u die your biz, & justice depends how fat your wallet is :s7:

Hi Vocallocal

Hi Vocallocal,

My CSO manager claims that you have been paid already. Would you like to verify this ? I think its jus another story the CSO's are spinning now.

Your CSO should be ashamed

Hi Vocallocal,

My CSO manager claims that you have been paid already. Would you like to verify this ? I think its jus another story the CSO's are spinning now.

Your CSO should be ashamed of working for a company that

1: clearly sold products that could not provide the proposed benefits
2: that continues to offer products to new investors while knowing that current investors are not being paid as promised
3: that requires an investor to take legal action to even stand a chance of recovering sums invested

I suspect vocallocal is quiet because lawyers hate cases in progress to be discussed. But even if he has been paid he had to take lengthy legal action to get money he was entitled to. What kind of a person would want to work for a company like that ?

Yes. I agree with u on the CSOs. The remaining CSOs are jus a bunch of liars who do not even know what is exactly happening in the company. The good ones have left the company a long time back. One of my ex CSO is still in touch with me and he has also invested in some of their products and wating to get paid..it will be a long wait for sure.

just came by the forum and to my horror i see this. have AAA plot due mar 10 and boron stuff due nov 09. am still waiting for payment cause they told me my boron would be sold and cash only come in 3 months later, so went back to them and they changed it for June 10.
For the AAA plot. i was told site planning would be approved 3 months from march too so they made me sign a extension, also because if i dont sign it i would not get paid my 12.5% interest. If i wanted to surrender the AA plot i would have to pay 15% or something like that commsision to the sales officer and also lose my 12.5% interest.
Need help any advice from those affected. Any groups or people who wants to take action or to talk to for help?
thanks

I am one of the affected party since Apr 09. I am surprised to see AAA plots continue to sell after mine as this was supposed to be the last batch of AAA to be sold as claimed by the sales person then.

Please do not signed any other documents with them and do read your terms of extension carefully. All of us was caught by their Option Agreement which is a trap as far as I am concerned. The extension was rubbish. PP refused to issue any formal statement to their investors and expect u to sign for an extension. I had already surrendered my plot last year, not renewed, and yet no payment.

Is there anything that u have to pay or compensate PP in the contract? I doubt so. Please do not be threaten by them. They can't make u pay anything since they had failed to honour their payment themselves.

One more to add!

hi
I read this forum and i am affected too!. sad that i did not do this reading 6 months back before i invested.

i have given my options form and as many say there is absolutely no response and more over the calls are ingnored.

kind of stuck here and am planning to talk to Mr Selva suggested by other members. if any of you would like me to join you to support hands i am willing to.

i am surprised that SPRING is not taking any action to restrict using their logos!!!

i mainly invested just because they had a SPRING certification.
