Hi kelvin

Have you tried lodging a case with Fidrec?
If the company refuses to answer your queries, this is your next course of action before going to small claims tribunal
Hi Excloc,

thanks for advice. I will go Fidrec and lodge complaint vs them. Had been to CASE but they rejected my complaint cos I bought the product for profit/investment and not for consumption.
Will also try small claims.

I believe there are other investors who have same problems as mine.

Hope I can get my money back before things go worse.

I thought PP advertise heavily on ESPN. Thought it was credible

To check out products advertised on ESPN or other premium cable channels, simply google the product name and "scam" on google.

:s13:

Some of those lint free magic cloth, detergent and stuff advertised on big name channels are pretty much nonsense slapped with a high price tag.

Finally, I was contacted by their officers to collect my payout cheque either this week or next week. I waited a total of 4 months 2 weeks after my investment expired.

It is very scary the longer the time you waited. But I still be scared to invest with them again. Get the money and take a break.

Last week no money and this week still no money? Hope they pay by end of this week.

Goggle and found one of their core values is credibility or you invested in a wrong company?

Hi kelvinryy,

i invested in boron in Aug09 and what u shared really frightened me as i m thinking of cashing out when it matures in Feb 10. The usd to sgd is depreciating rapidly and i'm really afraid to face the same situation as u , hence, kindly update me on the matter. Thanks!

Your only hope is that there is a regular and Increasing number of people investing in it. How else would it have money to pay earlier investors with interest! who wants to cash out.

One common trait of these "promise big" companies is the fanciful names that they adopt.

Profitable Group
Sunshine Empire
Strategic land Investment

So, if you see any company that had a nice and fanciful name, you should be wary.

Interestingly, some of the best investments in stocks are those that have a lousy name.
Chuan Hup?
Dairy Farm?
Ho Bee?
Unisteel?
Sing Lun?

As for good fund management companies but lousy names..

Berkshire Hathaway?
Value Partners?

The names' suck but at least they give good returns.

Hi Violetteo,

I will keep you updated if they had paid me. Once I get out, I will never invest with them anymore.

Hi, this info is useful to you. I bought into Boron in Apr 09. Profitable Group repeatedly delay the payout date. It's overdue by almost a month now. I have lashed out at their manager, someone by the name of Simon, many times. I asked to speak to their Sales Director but it was not granted. The Director also did not call me. I have had enough. Having consulted CASE and MAS, I was eventually referred to CAD (Police). I am so grateful CAD has taken up the case. An investigation officer has already contacted me. I have also alerted the officer to similar complaints at hardwarezone forum. I urged those affected to act and to seek help at CAD. You can email them or go down personally to Cantonment Road Police Complex to lodge your complaint. Hope this will help. Let's stand up for our rights!

My advice is - don't let it drag on. Report to CAD asap, and let the authority take it up with Profitable Group. They should face justice.

Now that I know the Group has delayed payout to Kelvin by more than 4 months, I can only conclude that their excuse of not having enough finance staff to process the payment is utter nonsense. It's really unacceptable.

Any breach of contract irks me.

Hi All,

I have been following the posts on this thread very closely because I have invested in three separate lots of Borons. I am truly worried to see the posts from some of you who insist that you have not been paid for months. I have contacted my Client Service Officer and he has acknowledged that some of the payments have been indeed delayed and he gave me a time frame of 2 months at the maximum. So, it is really puzzling to see posts saying that they have been delayed by 4 months or more. I am really anxious to see why Kelvin has not replied to the posts in here recently. Has he been paid? My officer did tell me that some pple who invested in Boron went to the PPG office and made a lot of noise and eventually got paid within a few days. This is contrary to what I read in here. I am a mature investor and I have invested in PPG only after looking very deep into their credentials and company profile. It really sadness me to see many negative feedback on them. I also know some friends who have invested in their plots and Borons and they are equally puzzled and worried, but none of them are worried to the extent to pull the plug on all their investments, because they have been paid good profits by PPG on some of their products previously which nobody here has mentioned. I really do hope more pple who come forward and share their exp with Boron so that we can all decide how we can manage our investments in Boron and PPG.
