Programming a Block chain

Hi guys,

Its been some time, recently I'm working on a project that requires the implementation of a block chain. I understand that there are plenty of iterations such as BTC, ETH etc. However due to the nature of my project I have to build one from ground up.

I tried doing some research but however haven't gotten anything yet. Was wondering if anyone is familiar with this area and could point me in the right direction to learn how to build one?
