I seen some local seller at laZada selling about $480 only. I think it a better projector than the $100++ china model. At least the built in speaker is more decent.

i have an Xgimi Aurora (bought last time for $500)
Not a bad projector, but it's only 1080p
I feel the picture quality is decent, and ive been using it for years

Beginning of this year I upgraded to JMGO N1S Pro
I import directly from China via Taobao, so it only cost me S$1.2k.
If buy from Amazon, it will cost $2.6k

4k projector. Much better picture quality than my old XGIMI.

If money isnt an issue, then just skip those cheap projector and get a good 4k one.
There's alot of good projector brands from China. If u can read chinese, can buy directly from Taobao, it will cost half the price from international sites like Amazon.

Important note for anyone who never owned a projector.

No matter what the sales man tells, u no matter what reviews you saw on any youtube channel that says a projector can be used during the day time
If u use it in the day time a projector will never be able to be as good as a TV
Even if u close the curtains which made ur room dimmer, a TV will still be much higher quality compared to a projector during the day.
It's still watchable, especially if u have a powerful projector, but the picture quality is just not comparable.

But at night when u switch off the ligfhts and make ur room dark dark, a good projector can be on par with a good TV.

My 4k projector when viewed at night is super nice, no lose to my 65" TV

Slant also can, can be corrected with the keystone adjustment~ however for these type of cheap projector, the more keystone adjustment made, it would loose it's sharpness especially the edge~

Dangbei mars pro 2 (dbox2) and jmgo n1s ultra lose to new entry nexigo trivision with alpd 5.0, only $1100 usd ($1450 sgd) too.



Yeah china version cheaper and better performance, those global version more ex and not as good but ui is english and got dolby vision.

I use it for the occasional function room display, the picture quality and apps UI cannot be beaten. Of cos there are cheaper ones.

This model looks basic. No WiFi, no apps like Netflix etc.

Can consider buying one that's WiFi enabled and has streaming apps, life will be much better cos don't need to mirror from phone all the time

All these mic ones better don't use their embedded apps for Netflix or the likes. Those free streaming apps still OK. You never know if the apps are compromised.

I have 1 tiong TV box on Android 12 the Netflix app cannot be updated.

I'm using projector to maximise the space in the room. And for $100+, I can get a 50-60" screen.

You can get them much cheaper if you buy the china versions from taobao.
