Promotion during reservist

letter didn't state any reason

anyone knows what could be the reason?

Highest man in SAF refers to Enlistees' rank, is Corporal First Class (CFC). Then goes to Specialist rank of 3SG and above.

Usually NSmen that went for supervisor level courses during NS years have high chance of promotion to specialist.

that a relief... I wont be one of them then... almost went for it but ORD faster than the other ones so he went instead of me

why curse? still remain man, everything same wat unless you change appointment.

if they promote u from man to spec, i think thats not a very good thing leh

Unless they need a spec e.g. short of spec if not they will not promote an enlistee to spec. In my unit specs outnumber men so we are all safe from arrow.

You no longer get rank pay as NSman so why bother?
