Now very cham, a lot new agents and commission cutting. He say fixed price companies like homeseller and agents offering 1% commission or do price war with commissions spoilt a lot of his market. Somemore marketing costs keep going up.

He has made a lot last time now stay nice condo and drive those suv bmw but worries for his future as his current income now hardly cover his living expenses. He relying on past savings.

He thinking of switching industries but dunno do what. I told him PHV but tiok gan by him...

ya , homeseller disrupt the market for HDBs.
but private properties the demand for commission agents still alot because most of these people working hard and got good salaries and don't mind spending some money to let agents do everything.

homeseller type of model is cheap , so suitable for HDB owners who have to compromise a bit and settled the viewings themselves.


But as a private owner who is damn free, i think homeseller model work for me too ..hehe coz i dont mind meeting the buyers and showing them around. Agents no need to be here and they can come as long as I am free, not agent is free.

Anyway my friend told me he thinks main issue is nowadays a lot of new people join as property agents

Then they like compete who can distribute more brochures. He say can engage external parties to print and distribute to letterbox of hdb or condo. Its expensive but saves time then himself do it.
