HCA score is 0.8 which is a good indicator. Did you see the diamond with the scopes?

Visited JP over the weekend with the gf to just find out what are the options available. Shown a few diamonds ranging from .4-.6, all super ideal.

.41 G VS2 was just under $3k
.53 G VS2 $3950
.56 G VS2 $4250
.606 G VS2 $4950

I need to take a look at H colour before deciding if it's worth it to drop colour and go for bigger carat instead. Sadly JP does not carry H and below.

For me, I would prefer a F as I want my diamond to be within the colorless range. :s13:
Saw H before in other shop and I can see some yellowish in it.

I'm definitely sure on the G already. If can drop to H and add a bit more on size, I'll do that. Gf found the .53 a bit too small.

Guys.. aset and hearts/arrows scope is different right? Some shops tell me its the same thing.

Both are completely different la.
ASET scope is to see the light performance and check light leakages.
Hearts and arrows scope is to check the crown and pavilion symmetry only.
You need to see with both.

Whichever shop tell you that makes it easier. Just walk away only.

You need to see with both.

This is why you die die must use the Aset scope

Thanks guys. Ya, thats what i thought. I went to JP yesterday for their diamond education. Its very eye opening to a noob like me. haha..

What they said about the shop lighting is so true though.. all the diamonds looks the same inside the shop. Maybe thats why all the shops don't want to show the ASET scope. Can see all the chui diamonds. :s13:

Which would you choose?
0.78 VVS2 F or 0.8 VS1 F (top up is around $800) Super Ideal cut
