Solasfera on small diamond is still ok. My wifey likes her 0.3ct Solasfera very much and is still stands out despite its small size. The sparkles are not as broad as the 57, but the many many sparkles makes up for it.

This is how the 0.3ct Solasferas will look like

This is when they're even smaller for side diamonds :s22:

Hope mine will be better :)

yup, it all depends on individual's likings :)

for new seekers, here is my opinion between these 2:
a well cut 91 facets diamond = smaller and quicker sparkles, shines bright like a disco ball - desired because of its excellent light return thus a premium. suitable for those who prefers busier pin-fire sparkles over chunkier bolder sparkles.

a well cut 57 facets diamond = broader and slower sparkles, shines boldly and less busy - traditional cut popularly chosen by most. suitable for those who prefers chunkier bolder sparkles over pin-fire sparkles.

below videos compares the 57 facet super ideal and 91 facet solasfera side by side to get a better visual of what i mean.

I can't agree more :) Me and my wife likes "busier" sparkle looks.. haha
It makes it more dazzling in a way..

My first diamond was from Blue Nile and returned it. It was their Ideal cut range but I could tell it wasn't as sparkly as others when I compared it around. I could see the black spot inclusions in the diamond too even though they assured me it was eye clean. The good thing about them is they have a 30 day return policy. But you need to factor in the shipping cost back and pay extra for insurance. I had to fork out almost $300 for the shipping cost back. GST refund is a pain too. Almost didn't get back my gst and it took months to process. Ended up just getting a diamond locally where I could check the quality with the scopes.

that was why i initially wanted to just get their ideal cut range but due to the fact that i cannot view the hearts and fire images make it harder to purchase the diamond.

Currently i am looking at their signature ideal range as the GCAL cert has the mirco images of the hearts and fire thus making selection of it easier.

I will be purchasing the diamond soon from the site, will let you guys know the review of this diamond from the website and if anything, should we avoid buying loose diamond online.

Wish me luck! :o

Hey guys, which setting style you think is better? It's for everyday wear.

Wah!! Your ring setting plus the diamond really like your user id. So "Akuma". The diamond chio. And the setting plus the diamond must be HUGE price. For me. This type of ring only for special event. Cos cannot afford to drop it (touch wood!!) during her everyday's work.

Hahahaha.. no la. The ring pictures I found them online to choose the style first. After I choose the style, they can adjust the design to my preference and will do a 3d for me to the correct proportion.. so more realistic. My diamond won't look that big la =:p

Went to JP yesterday to get my wedding bands. Was very tempted to upgrade my diamond but they said they only have 0.5+ octagon diamonds currently.

Decided to go for an ideal diamond over at JP since the only factor the diamond is not super ideal is cause the HCA score is not less than 1.4.

The diamond(1.02c vs2 G) and setting will cost me about 12k. Any suggestion what kinda payment mode should i use? any specific credit card that I can squeeze lotsa of rebate?

thanks for the help in advance, people!
