Looking at everyone elses Solasfera, how come mine the centre area is green whereas everyone else is showing red?

There's nothing to worry about... this question has been brought up several times before.

when the pavilion angle is about estimate 40.7 degrees or above the centre is receiving light from just very slightly above 45 degrees, which is the red area of the ASET.

the table reflection area now receives its light from just very slightly below 45 degrees; the green area of the ASET.

when the average of the pavillion angles are around exactly in that mark or 40.7, it becomes mixed, red and green.
the very slight, slight minute difference in change in pavillion angles causes this table reflection

any of these colors are fine

I have been reading through the posts over 50+ pages, and i can say that I have learnt a great deal of information regarding selecting a diamond. Having been to Meysons and Soo Kee, the inclusions of the Meyson diamond was alot larger when comparing the same grade of SI1 diamonds, between the two shops.

Having gone down to JannPaul, I was served by David, didn't see either Jann or Paul, but David's service and knowledge was top notch.

I settled on a 0.47 F VS2 diamond that was priced way lower compared to well known shops like Soo Kee and Lee Hwa, while the quality was something that i can see for myself.

The hearts and arrows I believe look identical right?

as all along i was served by Jann and Paul since a year ago... the last week when i was there for appointment with Jann to catch a glimpse cushion brellia ... i must agree with [gorgeous] the brellia is totally a class of its own..

PS: didn't see Paul around this time too myself, was told he is at a diamond conference overseas

I don't have any own design, so most likely will get the ready design. Anyone out there know which shop have more and better design?

you can try Ling Jewellery located at Orchard Hotel Shopping Arcade.
i went to see their wedding bands, their designs are very special, you can customise as well... much nicer than goldheart, love & co etc.

no side diamonds on our setting.
Preference is that if we have 1 big expensive sui sui stone in the center, we don't like to put small, cheap stones next to it.

haha maybe JP will upload pics of it in the future. I may upload if i get off my lazy bum to work the camera.

JP saved me the trouble and sent me 3 pics of the ring yesterday. So, here you go guys. Enjoy! Its a 1.08 carat, G color, VS1 clarity, Solasfera Round Brilliant Cut in a pretty standard Solitaire setting. Price is $2X,XXX.

that time i went to jp..got to view their solasfera small diamonds..... was shown a band with 1 row of diamonds lined up together.... very sparkly compared to normal diamonds...
now my wife thinking to get small brellia or small solasfera...
saw a few of their previous rings quite funky.... this is the one that we are both keen on...

Managed to find the picture of the LVC bands we like online and send to them.. they will modify and customise something similar...its with 3 0.1 carats diamonds for each ring.. I want it to be with mini solasferas coz my e ring is a brellia currently... Best of both worlds..!!
