I think I will go for the super ideal cut or the Solasfera. The settings actually I will go for the platinum with 2 side diamond on each side. How much roughly will that cost?

$20k confirm still have leftover..

Solasfera cost about 20% more than the Super ideal cut for 1 carat and above.

Mine is a F color VS2 1.01c super ideal with the basic 6-prong crown white gold setting. The diamond itself is $14 900. I kpo and asked about the Solasfera, i was told that it'll be about 18-19k for around the same specs. I think you can go down and view the diamonds first, let them quote u the prices, then try to ask for a better price before telling them that your budget is 20k just in case they wanna tokk you since tbh your budget is pretty high.

It also depends on how big yr side diamond is and its shape and cut. If the side diamonds you wan is 0.4c then it's roughly additional 3-4k per diamond. If it's 0.3c then additional ~ $2k+ per diamond. If is those small small tiny diamonds then the whole setting would be about 1.2-1.5k? I think everyone at JP provides very good service but the more popular ones are Jerome, Jann, Ranjit, Casey and Vince according to those reviews left on their FB page so you should just go down and enquire. Anw I was served by Vince. Super patient, even help me to evaluate the scopes and specs of the diamonds from other brands before my bf made the final decision to get from JP.

hmmm, tough. That is if your gf can accept G colour? did she mention anything about the colour before last time? You compare side by side, if the difference in size not very obvious, maybe you can go for the 0.34 instead.

i dont think there's something called fake diamond , basically its just the same composition. its just human made thats all . heard the hardness is the same . correct me if im wrong.

Orro carries diamonds simulants, aka imitation diamond. the material has gemological characteristics similar to that of a diamond. So the diamonds are lab grown, not natural ones. can be considered fake.

Hi everyone. I'm a newbie in this. If I got a budget of 20k, whats the best for 1ct? Like what cut, color and grade can I get from that price? With and without the settings.

I got a 1.38ct Super Ideal F VVS2 for 21K could have bought a 3EX for 16K for the same size. All comes down to the overall quality of the diamond.

ultimately it's what makes you happy, if your fiancee is okay with it and the price best fit your pocket. the value of diamonds and how it's supposed to symbolise true love has been inflated by De Beers.

Can orro GIA certify their diamonds ? That will be great because GIA don't trace diamond origin

No, Orro certify their own diamonds. GIA certify real ones that are mined, not lab grown or man made.

ORRO’s Superior Cut Diamond Simulants adheres to the industry’s most stringent diamond cutting standards as set by the Gemological Institute of America (GIA), but they are nt GIA certified

like what was mentioned Orro are not real diamond. they are diamond simulant. Like what you are taught in sec sch sci, diamond are made up of carbon atoms. diamond simulant contains other types of element. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Diamond_simulant

so it will be impossible to get a GIA since they grade real diamond. even if GIA willing to grade orro "diamond", it is gonna increase the price of orro by a fold since orro "diamond" is quite cheap already.

Ah, are synthetic diamonds different from diamond stimulant? What i understand is that one has the same material composition as real diamond.

Brellia is a brand name for cushion cut diamond with 8 hearts n arrows. Neither one is better than the other. Its just which cut you prefer. Octagon has 8 sides, 8 hearts and arrows and 88 facets. While brellia has don't know 57 or 58 facets with 8 hearts and arrows.
