Maybe you try to drop your clarity to vs1 or vs2 but still within 0.76-0.78 carat range. Price will drop about 10% for every upgrade in colour or clarity will command an increase of 5-10% in pricing.

I got their Octagon diamond. This is the scope images of mine

I was worried at first since the diamond shape is out of the norm. When she saw it, she loved it alot and went crazy =:p

I was quoted by JP for 0.92ct G VS2 $10,400. If you're willing to go lower on the clarity and colour, you can go much better and that is a significant difference

Clarity is not really that important. As long its above vs2 considered ok already. Focus more on cut, carat and colour.

Hi. I just want got back from jannpaul today and found a proposal ring that I really like. 0.33carat f color vvs2 solasfaera with side diamond on the ring. Was quoted 3.4k, is it worth it? But I must say, I really like my experience there.
For those with experience doing ring at jannpaul, do you get to see a 3D model of the ring?

Same budget, it's either putting your money in things which can't be seen with the naked eye (Colour + clarity) or on something which can be seen (size, 0.9ct is close to 1ct). As a girl, I vote for the latter haha

Approximately 2 weeks for 3D rendering then 6-8 weeks for production.

Depends on what is more important to you. Solasfera is very sparkling but you can get a bigger carat if you go for super ideal. $3.4k should be able to.get.you a 0.4x d-f colour clarity vvs2-vs2.

I like how unique the Octagon cut looks too. Moreover, its the first in the world BUT decision still lies with her! LOL. :s13:

I too wanted VVS 1/2 D color. I don't mind going for a smaller carat and my HTB got what I wanted. In the end if he give me a bigger carat but is not within my specs, I will also dun like the ring.

my ideal size is 0.4 carat onwards. In the end, I got 0.49 ct with the specs of VVS2 D color Brellia Cushion Cut

Diamond from JP are always a good buy. Look at the scope to determine more. On paper, this diamond looks good.
