I just received the images and upon checking the details of the image files, they were taken in 2011 by Canon camera and photoshopped by adobe. My GIA cert shows that the diamond was only certified in aug 2014. How is this possible? Has anyone had any experience on this? Appreciate your comment.

I've asked them about it before. Something to do with the camera setup and template of their logo file that has been around since 2011 and the date doesn't change. So all the scopes are dated 2011.

No cause for concern. Can always go view the diamond again

What kind of diamond and setting should I look out for with best value preferably with a diamond that appears larger?

Got a 0.4258 , F , VS1 at $3.3k. Fiancée is very happy with selection.

My colleague has hyperhidrosis too.. she wears her ring quite often.

The traditional type is the round. If you want something different there are other shapes like cushions, squares, heart, etc.
To make the diamond appear larger, plain settings thinner settings will be better
