I did exactly the same.
told the salesperson, i will let them know the collection date via email. :D

Guys, if my budget around 1500-2000. What kind of diamond can i get?
Can anyone suggest for me?

Personally, I will go for carat size over clarity and colour.. Can try for G colour and SI1.

Just remember to check for HCA (best if lower than 2) and look at scopes as it's actually not a common practice when I went to multiple chain stores.. only JP seem to do it.

e-clarity diamonds look pretty cheap like this one below with a nice score of 1.0 for HCA

I'll rank clarity last but keep to at least VS2. SI1 can have issues.
The diamond's depth is 62.6% le.. V deep. I read somewhere that deep diamond will look smaller and have no contrast effect.

HCA is good to weed out bad diamonds. But still need to look at the diamond's statistics properly and use the scopes.

I'm beginning to look around for proposal ring. Is there a list of recommended dealers/brands to go for? Budget is about 10k.

Would like some gals opinion on the ring design. Which is nicer?

I know her requirement is those twisty designs with side diamonds.

I like the one on the right for the side view. Its seems more elegant.
The one on the left has more detailing and I like the rose gold wrapping. The diamond holder has 2 pincers on each corner. They said I can make it to 1 pincer instead.

prefer the right one. left one seems a bit too complicated.

Front view from left is nicer. Side view right is nicer. If I had to pick one, I'll pick the right one.

Btw, are those designs from JP? Don't rem seeing them.
