Aww, i have been reading that Solasfera diamond sparkle more than Super Ideal Cut diamond but so sad that my coordinator told me there is no stock for 0.4+ carat in JP now, so has to go ahead to pay for Super Ideal Cut diamond. SHe mention that there is very limited quantity now.

Did anyone bought Solasfera diamond recently?

suggest you compare the actual diamonds side by side to determine which one suits her taste

i vote for broader flashes over pin-fire flashes

Anyone heard of LOVIS diamond? How's their quality / value? It's seem way cheaper then JP with the same spec.

Diamonds quality goes beyond the 4Cs and what's on the GIA cert... It's more about the scopes in the end.

if Lovis provide scopes, it's worth looking into it.

Was told Lovis carry radiated diamonds? Not sure how true though. Will double confirm with JP this weekend during my appointment.

I see, i'm just curious when i walked past Lovis and saw their prices are quite attractive so was wondering the quality. Anyway i had already purchased from JP few weeks back, never visit any other shops. Just 'kpo' haha.

Haha didn't ask. Only keen in 0.4-0.5 carats diamond.
Already pay deposit for the super ideal cut as no stock for Solasfera for the range we are keen at. Am waiting for the coordinator to send the scopes pictures.

If u have the budget for solasfera, As it will be slightly more expensive, why not get the super ideal and upgrade the size a little more?

depends if you like small flashes or big flashes? my opinion is solasfera looks good if your diamond is > 0.8 carat or 1 carat. note that the solasfera diamonds in JP videos are usually quite big, so they look very good.

if you prefer bling bling flashes = 0.35 solasfera
if you prefer less bling/broader flashes = 0.35 super ideal (can upsize to get a bigger carat bcos the solasfera will cost more)

just imagine a small mirror, broken into 91 pieces vs 57 pieces, the reflectivity will be different.

both are supposed to be stunning in either ways.

This is the Tiffany i got before

I wasn't happy that the diamond was not of the best quality that I was hoping for, my wife found the diamond was too small, end up we got one more from Jannpaul.

The funny thing we both notice is that jannpaul diamond is whiter, even the color is lower. It's possible to see from the pictures too. My camera cannot capture the sparkles but in real life the jannpaul diamond is much more sparkly and looks just more clean, like you can see all the cutting much clearer.
