I'm in the hunt for a ring. Where do i begin? :s13:

I will really recommend JP, as I went to a few jeweler, like Josigem, Meyson, JP is the one that really impress me. But nevertheless, Josigem is also recommended as I previously bought a 0.3 ct from them and their price are very reasonable but they only carry ideal cut, I think. But the boss simon is a very nice guy. He also do not do any hard selling..

Hi anybody had experience buying from meyson? thanks!
I bought solitaire from meyson before. But theirs is just based on 4cs and the 3excellence. They dont do diamond education like JP cause i doubt their sales personnel are trained. Prices are pretty affordable. Can go there if you are not picky about diamonds. But once JP, forever JP haha.

wah thats a good price. whats the cut?

Triple excellent. It's actually their signature ideal, similar to jp's concept of super ideal. Can't remember if this is with settings anot. But setting only couple of hundreds la. Makes no big difference

JP is a good start. They give a comprehensive diamond education and from there, you'll have a better idea of what you want. So far, I found them to offer the best value for their quality.

Don't pay too much attention on what shops label their "Ideal Cut", etc. My first diamond was also called an "Ideal Cut" by the store. Back then I didn't know much about the scopes and stuff and just blindly follow. After checking, turns out its not such an Ideal diamond after all. After a few years of saving up, bought my second one from JP. Bigg difference in the shine. Just get a good one and have no worries.

Good afternoon guys!

Got my ring's 3d design :s12: What do you guys think? Any suggestions??

We were worried how the ring will look on her ring in this design and they helped create the ring on a hand. My partner has slightly bigger fingers than average. So they made the fingers to her same size for us to see the overall proportions. Thought this was quite cool..

Honest opinion? Design is very pretty, but i feel the side view the design abit overwhelm the diamond already, if u say ur gf's finger size abit bigger than average, i'm worried it might not be as prominent as it should be, unless ur diamond go bigger abit. but most importantly u like it and u think ur gf will like it will do.

Looks very similar to my wife's ring but your design is an elaborate extension of her ring. Being non Asian she has a larger finger size 15 I think could be wrong here. The ring has a 1.38ct main diamond with .3ct side baguettes.

Thanks for the feedback :) The diamond is a 0.6ct and her finger size is 12. I know she likes the side baguettes while I like the side view of it. Initially I suggested them to do those twist and wavy designs on the band but they advised me against it becos it might not go well with the diamonds. So we compromised and did the side parts to be alittle wavy which looks like tree vines holding the diamond :D

Yes!! Yours looks very similar! At first glance, I thought it was the same as mine :s13: Now I can't help noticing how big your main diamond is.. haha. Have you collected your ring? Do you have any photos of it? :)

thought i'll post a more detailed review. Made an appt with Jerome after seeing good reviews here. He covered all my questions patiently throughout the education part with illustration.

Wanted an octagon but found out the biggest they had at the moment was a 0.68. After seeing i was torned between a round 0.84 and the 0.68 octagon, he suggested (no hard sell) that i reserve the octagon with a deposit first and think about it since i'm not in a rush. He will update me on new stocks of octagon if there are any. and if there were none and i really wanted a bigger round, i could transfer the deposit for the bigger round.

unfortunately there were no new bigger octagon on my second visit so i went for a bigger round 0.85. he gave me 3 to choose and through our discussion, he made it easy for me to make my decision.

got my scope images today and he also gave me additional shots of the diamond that i've requested for.

all in all, an awesome guy and i really appreciate the effort and suggestions in helping me choose my diamond.
