Anyone tried using Luxiee.com before? It kept popping up on my facebook so I went on their website before. Looks like alot of their diamonds come from Indian suppliers.

Never tried. But it popped up on mine too. Probably knows I’m seeing too many diamonds

Not surprising seeing that 90% of stones are cut and polished in India

It’s probably because the sales person assume that you’re just fooling around hence they don’t take things seriously with you. Some sales are really judgemental, especially if you look young and not wearing any branded goods on you, they won’t treat you seriously especially asking for anything above 1CT

Yes, JP buyer will have to bear the fee to return the diamond, provided the diamond can be returned. This is the current arrangement I have with JP for bringing in 1 diamond.

How’s the return fee based on? Any rough idea how they calculates it? E.g fixed % of ##?

Got a few price quote and thinking which one seems to be a better buy.

0.71 E VS2 - 6800
0.73 E VS2 - 7000
0.73 D VS1 - 7800
0.77 D VS1 - 7900

From 0.71 to 0.77c when placed in a row, I doubt u will see the size difference.
Between D to E, it’s also hard to differentiate.
Why pay for something u can’t see?
The second one was just a small price increase for some additional caret weight.

But as others pointed out... see if there are other options

I was actually looking for F VS1 or 2. But there aren't many. Quite a lot of VVS2. Will wait and see. Thanks for the advice!

Locally probably. Internationally, Good old gold used to carry them

JP SIC - 57 facets
Gold heart celestial - 73 facets
Solasfera - 91 facets

Then u also got star 121 among other high facet fancy cuts

Vs2 inclusion on the lower heart. But it’s fine

Hi guys,

I've shortlisted three princess-cut diamonds here that all fall within my budget, but could I trouble you guys to give me expert advice on which is the best value-for-money?

I also noticed that the table% for the two James Allen diamonds does not fall within the range that most guides put forth to determine if a princess-cut diamond is worthy of being graded "Ideal". However, AGS still certifies these two diamonds as "Ideal" cut - is this normal/common?

Lastly, I would like to hear your thoughts in regards to the safety of buying diamonds online - is it safe? apart from GST, is there other cost factors that I'd need to factor in?

Looks good to me too. Go for it! 0.72 is decent size and value
