I find this is something personal preference and budget.
But personally, i went for some seminar as well as having some discussion with Jann Paul consultant, within the 4C i am willing to compromise Colour and Clarity and will focus more on Carat size and cut. So if you are going for 18K white gold band, i would recommend lowest color is G and clarity to be VS1.

IMO, you would still have to do a physical check to confirm whether the reduction of color and clarity can be seen by naked eyes. In term of pricing i cannot comment much.

Hi guys, new here. I just got a quotation and placed deposit from JP for a 0.64 SIC (scopes look the same as all other sic). F, VVS1 for 5.3k only for stone. Worth?

Also may I check if JP only carries SIC, or can I choose an ideal one also? (JP mentions that They only deal with SICs and not ideals)

The white series from JP has the highest level of cutting precision, light performance and facet design already. You cant find it anywhere in the world. You can check the decagon video posted a few pages back more about it. Their stocks are extremely limited and booked months ahead in advanced. So if you're happy with the ct/color/clarity combo, I'd book it first and upgrade if needed in the future.

Ahh I see, so I guess 3.1k for my diamond is considered reasonable? We have already confirmed the diamond, hope it will be worth the upgrade! thanks for the info!

Use the same cloth that you use for cleaning spectacles. or any microfibre cloth with do.

I was told for the white series, it takes about 3 to 4 months.

I think it depends on which white series. Someone here said the ovals and cushions takes longer cos of the shape. The rounds and decagons will be faster.

I would rather lower the Clarity to VS2 and get their white series round or decagon. It will shine better and you wont see a diff with VVS and VS. JP already ensure their VS is eye clean.
