HCA score and proportions are good! You will need to check the scopes too for the light performance.

I think that the rose and white gold combo is very subtle so it'll still look classic over the years. Can't see much of the design in your pic but I think it looks good from the top :)

Rose/white gold seems like a in thing recently. =) Saw a few rings in this combination. Maybe will give you more option when selecting wedding band in the future

Stress man, our bto coming in like 3 quarters. I went to Jannpaul and can only afford 0.5-0.6cc. Hahaha i gonna have cash flow problem soon.

0.5 - 0.6ct is a very decent size IMO. Jannpaul diamond are very sparkly so you're assured the quality is there. I've seen big 1ct diamonds that don't sparkle at all which makes it look very fake. I also know some girls don't wear their diamond ring out because they find it too big and obnoxious

Scrolled back and saw your post. One of my friend did a similar design like yours with them but in a different type of twirl. He did the twirl in rose gold to make it stand out more. That's one option you can consider too.

I was told that rose gold (or yellow gold) can make good color diamonds look less white and sparkly. Indeed when I put a gold ring next to it, the diamond became more dull looking. So that means if you wanna consider that option, don't need to choose D or E color diamonds.

That was my concern too when i was choosing, but in the end still got white gold + half rose gold at the twisted part :o

Just need to make sure the top half where the claw is holding the diamond is in white gold. The color of the band shouldn't affect the diamond.

I would take the 0.36 D VS2. Could you see a big diff in size between the 0.36 and 0.41?

?? If budget allows, you can up to a 0.41 and aim for a F. Mine is a F VS1 cos u could see the yellowness in a G.

Mine is a G, as far as I am concerned, the little tint of yellow can only be seen at the bottom of the diamond. Once set in ring, I don't think its very obvious.

It depends on the Cut too. A good cut will make the diamond look whiter too because of the sparkles. When I saw their super ideal cut G next to the Solasfera G, the solasfera looked whiter even though its the same color. The extra sparkles from the diamond will create the effect that it is whiter. If the cut is good, you don't need to worry so much on the color.
