Uploaded for you. The cert scopes is ''computer generated'' whereas the scope JP gives are the actual photos. So those are more accurate.

Hey all, I went down to JP earlier and was offered a 0.61 F VS2 for $4,950. My only concern was that the inclusions were quite obvious under ASET Scope and H&A scope (largely on the shafts of the arrows).

Are the inclusions something that I should be concerned about? Based on my naked eye, I can't really tell much of a difference.

JP prices are pretty consistent. 0.5 E VS should be in the 3-4k+ range. Then your setting cost will depend on your design too.

It’s as perfect as a cookie cutter can be.
But it would seem that even JP is changing it’s specs

Can I check if this for 2.5 is ok? From HoH. I cross-checked this against historical pricing table shared in this thread, it seems more expensive than older stones of similar specs from HoH...

Appreciate if any1 can share alternative suggestions than HoH for local quality retailers that sell similar range like this with better value-for-money! (So far i have only been looking at JP/HoH)

It’s not I dun wanna recommend local but all the stones ever posted are either cut deep or wide. When it’s within specs, most pple here dun have an ASET to assess the stone.

Here are 2 very well cut stones for less than HOH, even after u factor in some extra cost in setting locally, it still works out cheaper

Benny Gems about $700-800
Poh Kim might be cheaper as it’s not in the CBD...

They dun let u take photos of the scope unless u buying. So it’s up to u to assess. Im sure they have some good stones, just depends on how perfect u want it to be.

Frankly I think that HOH posted earlier is much ‘better’ than JP SIC
