General physics 101. When light travel thru a bigger medium, it will pick up more ‘color’
Notice how thicker glass appears greenish

So if u decide to make a trinity ring with I color stones, 1ct and 2x0.2ct
The 0.2ct will actually appear whiter to some pple.

Why I say 0.2ct? Cos any smaller side stones are ungraded. So it really depends on the jeweller to help u find matching side stones when your main stone is an I color and u using white gold

I was about to say you can make just the tips of the prong or the whole crown head in white. This can help emphasize the whiteness of your diamond from the yellow gold.

I don’t know abt their workmanship but price wise, JP charges $550 for any plain setting. You can use them as a reference point.

With a bit of twist and turn, only then it comes out of my ring finger. It feels like a mandatory gap caused by the ring, i.e I can't close my middle and little finger onto my ring finger.
Quite gaowek to wear and type.

Issit becos your ring is too big? Sounds like its too big if there is a gap. Mine is a straight band with some design and protrudes out but can close my fingers no problem.

I've been lurking on this thread and benefited alot from all the bros here. Thank you all for the contribution and knowledge.

Sharing some photos of my ring. Its a 0.63 E VS1 super ideal cut. JP managed to speed up my ring crafting to 3 weeks. Very happy with the outcome and setting design I chose.
The design really brings out the diamond and makes it look bigger. The tapered band does help alot with the 6 prongs crown head. They made the crown head alittle more V shape to bring out the main diamond. All these small little ''tricks'' does help with the size. My gf even thought it was a 1ct at first. hahaha

The diamond itself is super sparking without a doubt. Now I know why you guys are all into the super ideal cut. You really got to just see it yourself to understand.

Only thing is the ring size. Will be going back to JP to resize the ring. Its abit too loose and the diamond keeps rotating around the finger. I used the string and measure method to check her ring size. Don't think its very accurate. lol

Tyty! Mine was a ready design because of my tight deadline so can't customize.
My gf ring size is 10 and the ring I ordered is too loose in size 12. Its back with JP now to resize. The diamond looked bigger than expected on her hand and I think it looks just nice for her. She said she won't feel comfortable if its any bigger.

How long more you need to wait for yours? Share pics when you collect!

personally i feel getting the E is good. For 250 to up 2 clarity grade of the diamond.

Normal SIC has 57 facets, gold heart celestial star has 73 facets, while JP Solasfera Round has 91 facets.

Compared to SIC, celestial is way more ex. A 1c celestial is >20k, compared to JP SIC which is about $14k.
