I'd recommend those that have legit lab test results e.g. from Labdoor. You can check out MuscleBlaze and Myprotein. Both are quite affordable.

the new brand in the market MuscleBlaze tastes good, it's from India. But not cheap.
Myprotein also very expensive.
I get California gold nutrition from iherb, then add my own cocoa powder.

i bought their sampler pack and it tasted vile... i just left all the 6 packs in the gym free for all to take. cannot stomach it sia

i tried ON after recommendation from a hardcore gym buddy. the double rich choc one not bad, not too sweet. tastes like milo although i find the milk taste quite strong. could be because i'm more used to isolates

Actually quite cheap what, 2.5kg can be had for $80+, even cheaper than myprotein.

Muscleblaze $80+ while ON can be had for $90+. Given the choice, most folks would probably pay that bit more to go for the more "known" brand. Myprotein tried once and never again. Mixability is easily the worst among all the protein powder brands i tried before. Felt more like eating powder than drinking protein shake.

anybody tried Nutricost, Whey Protein Concentrate ?

I have tried Muscleblaze( $65 when on sales) seems ok to me, than my itchy hand saw a Malaysian manufactured ones of 10 lbs which was the cheapest($107)... and it was a "lemon" ....throwing them away.

that is why instead of continuing with Muscleblaze looking at other brands that are "manufactured" at better location ?

Best to avoid those malaysian brands. Did some read up on Lowyat forums and even jiuhu kias don't trust their own malaysian brands no matter how cheap they cost.

I also bought the Muscleblaze back when they were clearing out at $65. Putting aside irrational dislike for the country its manufactured at, Muscleblaze is tested and verified by both Labdoor and Trustified so should be reliable. My main complain is the Ice Cream Chocolate flavor tastes weird to me as it tastes more like those cheap hot chocolate powder you buy from ABC/Valueshop.

Yes i learned my lesson... so in the end had to throw them away, as I am diabetic, it is important the Macros are correct, I have a big spike in blood glucose for the Malaysian one.

Yes agreed on Muscelblaze. I am not that fuzzy about taste, more focus on the correct Macros especially the Carbs and sugar amount.

Anyway I have ordered already Nutricost, seems the company is in Utah USA and the low carbs & sugar is what Iam looking for . It is 5 lbs unflavoured @ 75 after newcomer discount.

Hopefully it is good than I continue to order this brand, unless I see Muscleblaze again @ 65 otherwise if the normal price around 89-119 i think will buy NUtricost.

Thanks for the reply and feedback.

Since no one has any comment on the brand I was asking,

I went to search the internet and found a website that does a review of most protein powder, not sure whether it is reliable but looks professional , anyone here have any comment on this website ?

Good or not Good ?

below is the link, I just pick this comparison not pushing any brand

as I am new that is why seeking opinion here. You can pick any brand for review . (not sure whether by posting this link is against regulation, if it is mod please delete them, Thank YOU).

Just received my Whey Protein Concentrate today.

Just post the photo of the ingredients-- very clean only basically two items only.

I am Diabetic so always looking at the Carbs and Sugar level which is met with this product.

I'd look for 3rd party lab results rather than what's in the label, which may be fabricated. I'm assuming you got the unflavoured version?

Yes I got the unflavored version, since I am testing allulose for GLP1 effect & also adding my own cocoa power plus coffee so I like it since only got two ingredients. ( whey protein & sunflower lecithin only).

let me see whether I can post the photo.

Hopefully the macros are correct unlike the earlier ones I bought that is manufactured in Malaysia.

Will test my blood glucose after drinking... if good think will continue to buy this brand, unless I see MuscleBlaze 5 Lbs is at 65 again.

May i know where you got the Nutricost whey protein from? Tried searching on Laz/Shopee and don't see it being sold on those platforms.

I bought it from iherb, I signed up just to buy it. 5 Lbs @ 75 unflvaoured (Whey Protein Concentrate) with new comer discount.
Expiry date is 2027, so long way to go. Once I finished my Muscle Blaze than I will open it.
That Malaysian Scam whey gonna throw the whole tub which is 10 lbs so 107 goes down the toilet.

Thanks for the reply........holy crap 10lbs for $100+ aint exactly cheap. Saw some malaysian brands on shopee going for sub $50 for 5lbs. But yeah..........not worth cheaping out on whey protein since this is something you ingest into your body.

well learned my lesson, after someone say check the Malaysian forum plenty of bad review, that is the reasons why I went to buy this brand which is manufactured in Utah USA. Hope it is good than I will continue with this brand or other USA brand ( there are others on iherb).

I only take 1 scoop per day which is 32g, the rest of my protein needs are from natural food...like pork chicken beef and even soy bean or homemade Natto.
