PS3 red blinking light

My PS 3 160GB just turned off and the red light just kept blinking after 5mins of play. I read online that this could be due to overheating. But after clearing of the dust and the fan area, the same problem occurred. Is there a good reliable store that is able to service my PS3? I have yet completed GTAV.

i think this point, it's cheaper to buy a new ps3 than repairing it. my best bet is to DIY. im sure there's a youtube video on how to repair your ps3.

also, maybe you'd wanna try asking in gameaxis.com cause here mainly are pc-centric forumers.

Happens to my old fat ps3 as well. Your ps3 is fat slim or super slim? Can send for repair but not recommended coz problem might come again. Just buy new one or better still take opportunity buy ps4.
