There's 3 years coverage instead of one. Of course it doesn't cover stuff like liquid spillage or cracked screens but at least if your logic board / SSD / LCD fails after the limited warranty you can still receive free replacements.

It's only a few hundred dollars more so what is that compared to buying a $3000 iMac or $10,000 iMac Pro? (yes, I'm looking at one iMac Pro in front of me right now with only limited 1 year coverage)

Seriously, it's like getting a Ferrari and not buying any car insurance. :s8:
