corsair has 3 models at the 850w mark, the rmx, txm and hx. all are pretty decent, so just go with what u like.

came across this ssd list just now, am looking to build an APU pc as well.

forgot which forum, but read that look for TLC for NAND type and those with DRAM. something about those cheaper budget type without DRAM would then use your actual RAM.. in my case probably no issue

initially looking at Samsung 980 since price looks cheap.
after seeing that probably would pick Samsung 970 PCIe3.0 Evo/Evo Plus for my case instead of the more expensive 4.0

you should be picking PCIe 4.0

since you going for max, pick the NVME PCIe 4.0 SSD = gaotim

if use NVME PCIe 3.0 in your 4.0 slot... still can just wont achieve the 4.0 speed

i see most seem to be comparing the WD SN850 and Samseng 980 Pro

WD is a hair bit faster. there is also a heatsink version for the WD, but don't think it will fit under the mobo's provided heatsink (so get the non heatsink one)

prices looks like around 270+~280+ for both on AmazonSG and Laz for local stock

newegg lowest seen is 165usd for SN850 1Tb.. about 220sgd (then usual RMA issues faced when buying abroad)

There's a even faster gen4 nvme, Aorus 7000 2tb, read/write 7Gbps. Smoked both 980 pro & sn850.
