Was using pc normally then all of sudden PC suddenly no power. Though got power trip but realise everything is normal living room light still on. Then try switch on pc again nothing happen no light no nothing. Just a flicker on the LED power button then press again it's just nothing no light.

Try remove GPU HDD RAM still same. Then decided to swap PSU.

Lucky got spare working PSU so try swap to it and to my surprise it works perfectly fine everything power on nice nice.

Very strange and wierd because this Fsp aurum gold PSU only use 1 year only faulty already?

Guess have to send it for RMA Liao. Surprise that it dies so fast only use 1 year only. Anyone knows if tech dynamic able to swap to other brand model with some top up or can only swap with the same model psu?

Sharing this experience because I find it bizzare and wierd that Fsp PSU only can last 1 year zzz.

seems like the protection circuits of the psu has done its job of preventing damage to the rest of your pc

Really is 100% psu faulty switch to my old coolermaster psu and working now.

But very weird lei like that psu really faulty after triggering its protection circuit? What causes it to trigger its protection circuit? Also never power trip or anything like that. At the time it happen was just watching some video and its consuming very little power not even gaming. Psu was working fine from day 1 until now suddenly like that.

Even branded 80+ rating PSU do fail right within their warranty period.

My Corsair HX620W input capacitor exploded once the mains was on. Usage was only 2 years out of 5 year warranty.

Switched to Superflower Golden King Platinum (discontinued) from Dec 2011 and still running fine today.

They can offer you an equivalent price PSU if fsp is not available.
