PSU for 24/7 load GPU

Hi there bosses! I need a recommendation for a psu for my 280x.Its drawing nearly 350-370 at full load so 3 cards are going to kill my 1000w psu.

Therefore i just need one to power this card.Does bronze,silver,gold matter if i only require only max 400w?

Do recommend.Not too expensive though hehe,overspent this month already

1000w is more than enough to power 3 cards. Counting tdp max 3 of the cards should not exceed 750w. You are drawing a total of 370w is because of your cpu and other stuffs. It will not equate you with 370x3.

Per card max draw load is only 250w rating.

Bro i have a watt monitor.Idle with one card is about 200w.When i run all 3 cards on load,i'm already pulling 1020-1050 off the wall.I just want to be sure and not fry my psu sooner than its proper lifespan.

Plus i also undervolted my ram and cpu just to save a few watts here and there
So what do you advise?

Somehow i got a feeling that the power source you are tapping takes in more power due to your other devices. And dont you think a psu at 1050w it will still run? Despite you have obly 1000w? Furthermore a psu not necessary draw 1050w it could be more just to power up.

Issolate this issue. Go try just the cpu alone onto another power source. With just the monitor/tv issolated with another power source.

It cant be a rated 250w card would exceed their own rating at load. 250wx3 still 750w max. Give and take additional 150w for the rest of your items 900w in total.

Is either your power meter is faulty or just show you wrong readings. And by right psu at max loading you should be able to hear some sound already.

True true.There were a few times my comp either blue screened or just shut down on its own.So i was worried regarding power insufficiency.

In this case,regarding the platinum rating being at 89% efficiency on load.Does it mean that my psu is being loaded at 100% means i'll use power less efficiently than if it runs at 890w according to the rating?

i never understood this rating thing.

PSU rated at 1000W means it will supply 1000W to the PC. It may pull more from the wall, just that it will be wasted as heat and noise, which is perfectly normal as none are 100% efficient. So 89% efficiency means that at load, to supply 1000W is the 89%, the other 11% is wasted as heat and noise. So yes, while the watt meter may read 1050W, the PSU is almost certainly giving the components near 1000W.
