i already own one lol. got it at a good price too. its very comforting to know i got one part right.

so... im completely lost now. do i need a 3570? can i go lower? any big detrimental effects? and a suitable mobo? i dont need anything amazing, just functional. USB 3.0, pcie 3, ATX, decent sound, no need for SLI crossfire.

you've all been very helpful guys! know that any suggestion is a good suggestion!

The 3570 is an Ivy Bridge CPU. Familiarize yourself with the Intel CPU generations first before buying .
