PSU good enough for CPU(ocing) + Gcard?

hi guys, wondering something,

think my FSP 500w gold series able to support abit of OCing on FX8350 and my XFX R7950 3GB?

i just buy the Ggard off amazon, as my current rig would be bottleneck (Q6660.omg-olddd) im already planning to get a sabertooth 990FX and a FX8350 to go along with it already, ram wise maybe AMD RG2133 4X4GB or G.SKILL Ripjaws X Series 8GB (2 x 4GB) 1866 F3-14900CL9D-8GBXL

would if be possible?

im planning to reuse most of the stuff, expect those that cant carry over,

mobo: sabertooth 990fx
ram: as stated,
GPU: xfx 7950 with lifetime warranty at usa,(so i wont need to change ever...)
CPU: FX8350 to oc

GPU:$320, CPU is $199 USD if shipped, MOBO is 290, Ram im looking at $95 for g.skill. total cost under $900...

then planning to sell the mobo+cpu+ram as a whole, then gcard stand alone, both adding up to around $200 most likely

You sure xfx honors lifetime warranty.

Never ever buy gfx card from ebay. They are honored by 3rd party seller. Seller close shop you are in trouble.

Buy from amazon would be a better idea.

$500usd on both mobo and a fx chip. Do you know a $507 can land you a msi z87 g45 gaming + i5-4670k. And yet with 3 years warranty from corbell.

Anyway even you buy sg 990 sabertooth and fx8350 is the same price in local.

Bro sorry its amazon.isnt xfx honored by their own company? The mobo is in sgd. Only cpu is usd. So is the psu good enough to do those things? Amd even if shipped overseas is international warranty. Mobo is local

Ah then that is better. Xfx warranty is not lifetime. Its a 3years warranty in US. The only thing lifetime is ram.

PSU 500w should not be an issue ba. But best is buy a good PSU and replace it. PSU over the years performance sure degrade.

In my honest and rough guestimation, 500w seems a little low to OC the cpu. Both the AMD cpu and gpu are power eating monster (unless you not planning to load the pc after your standard OC tests)

Hmm amazon states lifetime. Thats y I got this. Plus the gold series free game.

Hmm ok icic. Psu was gotten I think 1year+ back.i try use the standard oc from the asus mobo and see how it goes
