finally get it to work!
1. connect 24 pin psu
2. connect 4 only out of 8 12v
3. 6x2 pcie connected

the next problem...3 min into window..listening to some songs...screen suddenly off..computer jam...computer still running with screen off..

suspecting gpu problem..

any bro any idea?

If the mobo has the 8 pin for the CPU, use all 8. No harm at all using 8.

ATX, again use all 24.

GPU, again got how many sockets, plug all in.

--------------------------

Superflower 600w HX sure can support a single 970 with a lot of spare. Superflow is also not that retarded when it comes to rail distribution, so it is not a design problem. Manufacturing problem is not impossible though.

Remove GPU and use the iGPU. Do a stress test for system stability. Test CPU, and RAM. Then plug in GPU. Stress test the GPU.

If you suspect the PSU, get a volt meter and test the voltages (use a molex connector for ease of testing), when the system is idle and when loaded.

mobo has a 24 pin to power the buses and PCIE lanes.

4+4 (8 for more tdp chip like i7 x99 chipset) for cpu.

GPU has either 6/8 pin. you need to use 2 6 pins.

6+2 is for 8 pin, but 6+2 without the 2 is for 6 pin.

finally get it to work

1. 12v connect only 4 pin instead of 8 (once connect 8 press on and shut off by itself)
2. ATX 24pin connect all
3. GPU 6x2 connect all.

now the problem with auto shutdown.

i think its the CPU temperature
1. HW monitor easily 4500rpm
2. CPU temperature at idle 40 C..open spotify jump to 70 C

might opt for watercooling..the fan at 4500rpm is very noisy

its ok. i think my setup is ok. just very loud. thinking of changing the cpu fan to water cool..that might solve the problem.

4500rpm is really loud :(:(

Before you part with your hard earned cash, check if your casing can mount the radiator/fan?

thanks for the advice. the spec mention the case able to mount 400mm length radiator.

some of the bros here tried it before too..its better rite with watercooling? lesser noise lower temperature ?

Ehh.. where got such thing as 8 pin will crash 4 pin wont crash. Your mobo/psu/power cable likely to have some problem man.

70 degrees is not high enough to cause crashes.

hwmonitor is reporting wrong information, no 120mm fan can possibly reach 4500rpm lol.

Why bother spending money on watercooling.. Try to sort out the real issue first.
