How long does PSU last?

I have a Seasonic X650 6 years and running well. Thinking whether to continue with it or replace it in my next rig.

I had another no-brand PSU prior that died after 5 years, but Seasonic is showing no such issues.

MTBF is about 150,000 hours for 25°C. Singapore is hot and humid so reliability and rated MTBF should be much shorter, exclusive of accidents like power surge/shorts and human incompetence...

It may still endure for another 5 or more years.

It is because you bought a Seasonic PSU that it will last very long. They have a 10 year warranty on their PSUs and thus, will be the least part of your PC component that you should worry about for the next 4 years. Congratulations on money saved after all these years.

I myself am upgrading to the Seasonic PRIME 850 Titanium. It is basically the best of the best out of all PSUs with a Titanium rating (even above platinum). JonnyGuru that has been reviewing PSUs since we were very very young has given my Seasonic Prime a perfect 10 which really shows what you are getting with the money spent.

However Corbell isn't importing this Titanium series for the price and will instead only be bringing the Gold Series. So no choice, had to buy from Amazon UK store which is more expensive than buying from Amazon US to ensure no compatibility issues with the Power Plug.

Really? They are compatible? Thanks! Am still relatively new to the hardware side of PCs. Was worried they might not be suitable for Singapore's plug voltage.

What compatibility are you referring to? Just get a simple plastic adaptor will do. Modern power supplies support universal voltage input.

You can look at the datasheet on Seasonic website. AC Input Voltage: 100 V - 240 V. Just swap out the IEC cable with local one.

Appreciate the input. Meaning if there are ever devices other than PSUs with this input voltage, I can just use a Singapore Power Plug without any issues right? Will prove to be useful with my other devices that have international plugs as well. Thank you once again for the feedback.

Because my main issue was that I was worried it would not utilize the third pin on the Power Plug that helps to keep electricity grounded. My Roomba has the tendency to trigger the fuse on the Power breaker every time I turn the switch on. I will double check its specs and see if I can buy a UK power plug to remedy this issue.

Yes.
Something like a smartphone AC adapter with an input (i.e. 100-240v) range like this will work too. In the case of PSU, u can reuse the IEC cable from the current one. You can double check the ratings of the current IEC cable by looking at the markings.

Don't think that's necessary the case. Reviews for seasonic are still positive when I updated myself to build a PC for someone else.
