psu problem?

seems to problem can back again, i didnt manage to get a replacement the other time and continued using.

ok this is the "faulty?" seasonic 520 unit

and i got an old supposingly faulty andyson 500W to check

First my kb and mouse led died out after 5 min turning on the com. then i went to restart the com and reseat the usb. then subsequently cannot power on and the above symptoms occurred. now i using the backup psu and the mouse + kb still wont work, i had to use other ports (usb3) for it to work as below

Have u try reapplying thermal paste? USB not working means not enuf power or spoilt. Do u overclock?

not yet, but even so how does it explain that the psu for seasonic wont bootup as compared to andyson one . no oc

so your problem is not psu... other component dying soon. How old is your machine? run 24x7?

oh why not psu, since swopping the psu made the difference partially? whole rig since oct 2014. no not 24x7.

Just sell at marketplace and get a new psu... problem solved..

veryyy long shot, but can u try off psu rocker switch, remove power plug cord from psu. then press & hold power on button on the casing for 10-15sec.
then put everything back, power on goto bios reset to defaults. after reboot see if usb2 ports come back to life or not?

p/s, ur casing rear fan always no spin, is disconnected?

Assume psu OK, try changing graphics

then put everything back, power on goto bios reset to defaults. after reboot see if usb2 ports come back to life or not?

p/s, ur casing rear fan always no spin, is disconnected?

Will try later. But all is good when i use my andyson and i could use for 3 hrs last not.

i put back to the seasonic psu, can run lol wtf (means whole system can boot up and posting this post using it)

i did your method but the usb still gg, now using usb 3.0 ports

it is spinning as usual. yup i change back can boot alr, last night cannot lol its like on-off issue. nvm i will drop by nigel shop later

I might have a similar problem.. PSU should be working as CPU fan and GPU fan is spinning but BIOS cant boot up..

most properly is your mobo got problem, came across such issue before on my friends pc

on cold start, able to boot into window but if try a reboot, cant even startup or sometimes will stuck at windows loading screen
usb ports not working also could be mobo issue, my board had to rma also because of this, one of the usb is always not working properly even after i reinstall the usb driver
