Some reading slightly lower than default but these shouldn't result in random shutdown. Only when these reading dropped much lower during stress, the system will shutdown or restart.

How old is the PSU?

If the BIOS allowed a slight bump on the core voltage, try bump it up by 1 or 2 notch but avoid going beyond 1.5v

Maybe if u can provide some information beside these??? Like ur PSU is which model, age from your last purchase, what are u doing that time that causes it, what are other hardware is connecting to the PSU, etc

Cos it hard for us to guess whats the issues and beside that could be some part of ur system that is making it restart or ur plug has some issues.

if u can maybe change ur plug and see.:o

how is this a viable test for TS' PSU? TS already mentioned the PSU is able to power up his system (albeit not consistently).

pin up the psu and let it run? monitor the psu fan, see if it will power down? cause TS also mention that sometimes it cannot even boot up.

here is the detail from cpu-z

AMD PHenom II X4970

MB 870A-G54

RAM DDR3 12GB

GPU AMD RADEON HD 6850

The monitor is definitely working

i suspect is GPU , any way to test it?

the restart is like someone just press your restart button.

it restart sometimes its like try to boot up but like not enough power.

i will off the main switch , wait for a few hour and it could be turn back on.

why don't you just get a new PSU? a 7 year old basic PSU is way past its used-by date.

ya , but afraid is a waste of money , if its not the PSU

wacko makes a good point, its time to change a 7 years old PSU anyway.
if it really had a sudden breakdown, it might damage other component, end up you will have more things to fix. PSU is almost universal (unless the casing too small, cannot fit), can always use it on your next rig.

install the new PSU on it, see if the problem persist?
other things that can be check
1) Ram, take out the ram, rub the connector with eraser and install back. can also use MemTest86 to test the ram
2) GPU, take out the GPU and test with onboard graphic and see if the problem persist. Or with the GPU install, run some GPU stress test and see if it would shutdown
3) if all the following has been tested and the issue persist, most likely is the motherboard liao

is your rig as old as your cpu?

intermittent problem is a bit hard to troubleshoot. If it only crash during gaming or heavy workload, it can be narrowed down to power and temperature.

there is a higher chance that your psu is having problem, followed by your mobo.

High chance the PSU developed bloated/leaked 16volts filter capacitors right beside the root of the output rails, not unusual for PSU this old.

The symptom is not typical case of failed motherboard, PSU is the prime suspect.
