Hi guys, looking to change my PSU as I think it's causing my casing and any pheriperals connected to it to give off small shocks(?) when I touch any metal contacts. Is this normal?

My PSU is a really old scythe 600w.

I know the importance of having a good PSU for a system but as I'm on a really tight budget, are there any psu's below $100 to recommend? Corsair cx500m and seasonic 520w? Thanks in advance

May not be your PSU, could be the power extension cord causing the leakage. Try another one first.

Alright maybe it may be what's causing the problem. But if I still wanna change my PSU? Any good modular ones to recommend? Preferably <100

Don't skimp on PSU ever. Avoid cheapo cooler master and corsair models because of the build quality. Seasonic would be nice. Or superflower, hx gold 600w.
