in sg just go for superflower or seasonic, some brand just using the same psu with their branding slapped on it lol, no point paying price premium for it.

Definately the Corsair RMx series, They use their own fans to cool their psu. Some brands are using some cheap china fans that will have fan coil whine or will just spin at a high rpm cos their fan curve is set at a steep angle.

Thanks! I just need a good PSU and no need a premium one by paying so much.
perhaps you can provide a budget for someone easy to suggest for you.

If you plan on AIO + multiple ARGB fans I suggest you do not save on psu not within the range of $30~$50 differences for the premium model for overall system stability in long term efficiency.

Thanks bro. My budget is around $200. SEASONIC FOCUS GX850 850W seems good to me.

Only Corsair for me, HX series. Mine Corsair HX1000i 80+ Platinum 1000W PSU
Get 1000W, future proofed.
My previous Silverstone Strider 850W Modular PSU lasted me more than 10yrs BUT I no longer choose Silverstone because internal changes and OEM.

Nothing is future proof, everything dies sooner or later. I like Cosair PSU, from thier first HX-520W/620W, TX, HX650, AX-850, RM850x, RM650x and the laltest RM850x 2021; Also Seasonic Evo and X-460; Antec Neo-HE, TruePower series and many others brands/models.

Most of them die after their 5 warranty period, even the Corsairs. Both HX 1st gen malfunction just before their 5 years warranty, Convergent was kind enough to replace them with HX-650 with new 5 years, need to top-up though; The AX850 also die just before before its 7 years, replaced with RM850x.

My experience is PSU will die faster in hotter enviroment, if the casing do not have great air flow. But I would rather buy a new PSU every 5/7 years than to endure noise everyday.

Eventhough almost every--except RMx--for now--Corsair PSU models die on me, I would still recommend them, atleast they lasted more than 4/6 years. If you venture enough, Amazon SG was selling RM850x 2021 for S$125 last week and it arrived today. Note that, Convergent will not warrant them and shipping/RMA 2~3 kg PSU oversea is gonna cost you. With 2/3 price of local unit, if it works for 5 years, I'd be happy.
