Just opened up my EVGA 80+ Gold PSU and realised it's a 10A 125V plug.

Would just an adapter work for it?

That's the rating for the wire. Adaptor or another cable with the 3pin head would do as well.

You can get the cable from an old printer or kettle. Should be the same type of connection.
