depends on which mb u pick. some X470 mb need 2 x 8-pin cpu power.

You can run just 1 8pin. But you will be prompt with a warning message. And iirc you will not be able to oc your cpu.

i don't know if there's any 650W psu have 2 x 8-pin cpu power, last time use to have. nowadays i only see it on 750W and above.

I have an SF leadex 2 gold. Not sure it have 2.. But crosshair 7 hero is 1x 8pin 1x 4pin.

+1 You save the day.. Still worry about it lol.. But I'm can be at ease!

The single 4 pin atx socket on the MB is optional. Connect your 8 pin eps connector(4x4) to the 8 pin on the MB and that should be enough to power the ryzen 2 even oced to 1.6V vcore(1x4 pin equates to 144watts so 2x4pin = 288watts as per the atx psu specs)
the extra 4 pin socket or 8 pin on some mobos is there for extreme oc'ers on LN2 and require more power FYI.
