Which 1 is better for 4770k/780sli or both roughly the same??

will be overcloking those thing heavily ma..think more power headroom more stable? And still need to power few more ssd/hdd,fan,cooler etc..maybe 860w barely cut it if i count the power usage at 80%

I don't really see a point to 24/7 heavily OC a haswell/Ivy, but here are the figures anyway.

4770K OC to 4.3ghz ~ 125w
780 SLI OC ~ 550w
Other components ~ 90w

Total 765w

Add 10% headroom ~ 845w

These are way, way compensated. Normally you won't go over 700w. P860 or Leadex 1000 are both good choices.

In theory i can buy a 750w and power up the rig. But that does not mean that it will work. If on full load my gpu draws 250w each then im already running on a limit from my PSU. Not forgetting that a PSU draws slightly higher to output and supply it to your components, rest is burn out as heat loss. Giving you lesser headroom if you wanna buy just sufficient PSU wattage. Lastly with a stress PSU, your fan will be spinning quite hard for it to cool down the PSU.

Buying a 850w or 1kW would be a good idea.

Better off with 850w PSU.
I don't think your fans draw so much power unless you are using the high current delta fans.

Superflower is the one to go for, read too many issue with Seasonic PSU.

Can't find superflower 1000W in SLS last weekend..all sold out..not sure new stocks when are they coming in. Recently forum shows afew seasonic psu pops suddenly, i am also scared to buy that.

If anyones know where have stock, please do tell me.

No need to worry la, if faulty juz go exchange lo, btw my exchange psu seem fine after testing , no pc crashed reboot

Btw i need some opinion, due to the game i play like bf4,rome total war 2 at 2560x1440 the performent is not really good. Msi osd show cpu load quite heavy is it due to that?if so do i need to change or just forget about these 2 game. Pc spec is to the right, many thanks.

superflower is preparing a new batch of leadex for us. it'llcome in
gold 650/750/1300 and platinum 1000/1200

Yes, Rome 2, like all TW games to date, are very CPU dependent. More importantly, the bottleneck is in the main CPU thread. CA has been pushing for greater parallelization, but the gains are not sufficient to alleviate the CPU bottleneck.

Note that some of the options, IIRC, Shadows and Unit Details are CPU dependent, NOT GPU dependent.
