Hello, is a psychology degree in Singapore useful? tried searching the degree and programs forums but had little input.

am considering this because of interest. On the other hand, i am kind of scare if i cannot find any job with a psychology degree

Had the same dilemma. Psychology is my interest and wanted to take that up but after researching around, you basically can't do much with a psychology degree except for HR dept or headhunting. To become a psychologist, you have to study further with a good amount of practicum hours. But I guess it'll be a really fun course to study.

A business course. Passion vs prospect and I chose the latter.

To be practising, you'll need a post grad masters or PhD. Or else all you can do is counselling.

Yes that is right, you need a postgraduate degree to be able to become a psychologist. But there are more jobs available than HR area and counselling...You may even want to do a counselling masters to be specialised in counselling...
