PTP to enhanced

Hi all, i just got my enlistment letter for the PTP batch telling me to enlist on 12 February 2019, if i pass my IPPT 2 weeks before my enlistment date, what will my new enlistment date be? Is there anyone who went through such a process? Would like to hear from you all!

Napfa is for members of public while IPPT is only for servicemen and they have different set of requirement for pass (bronze), silver and gold.

I assume that you are asking if you are enlistment date is on 12 Feb 2019 and if you pass your Napfa with bronze or silver, what is your new enlistment date.

If you only get Napfa bronze, you still enlist on 12 Feb 2019.

If you only get Napfa silver, your enlistment date for PTP still remain unchanged unless you follow up with CMPB about your new Napfa silver status and they will get back to you your new deployment (enlistment date & time, service force like SAF/SPF/SCDF and reporting unit).

Please don't ask stupid question like when will be your new enlistment date cause even if I have MR, I still do not know how CMPB decide my deployment such as enlistment date.

Hi thanks for your reply, i can sense that you dont really understand my situation so here it goes, i failed my 3 station pre-enlistee IPPT in JC which comprises of 2.4km run pushup and situp, I've done my research and it says i can book an appointment at Toa Payoh to retest and get above 61 points so i have no queries regarding that.

I would like to clarify that im not asking for an exact date but rather will my enlistment be pushed foward or pushed back, i am currently shortlisted for an internship which ends in March so i would just like an estimation, definitely no need to criticize my question.

This question is directed to those that undergone the same process of passing IPPT after they recieved the enlistment letter and whether their new enlistment date was brought foward or pushed back, so i would like to hear from those that changed their enlistment date in order for me to have a better understanding of my situation.

Currently im in the JC batch and i am PES A so i heard that my new enlistment date would be the April batch of enhanced BMT, how true is that? Thanks

"If you are medically graded PES A or B1, you will enjoy an 8-week reduction in your full-time NS duration if you attain 61 points or more from the three Pre-Enlistee IPPT stations (with a minimum of 1 point from each station) at least two weeks before the Physical Training Phase (PTP) enlistment in order to qualify for direct basic training. Otherwise, you are required to undergo the 8-week PTP."

61 points is pass with incentive no neither bronze nor silver.

Don't worry. he usually doesn't. he is also a very old soldier who doesn't know what he is talking about.

Enlistment date after Feb not updated yet, https://www.cmpb.gov.sg/web/portal/cmpb/home/before-ns/enlistment-dates, but if u can get a reduction, it is likely april or later.
