Ya. Normally people--me included--would not expect Opposition to emerge as the winner in a 4-cornerd by-election (esp when WP wasalso under the attacks of other opposition contestants).. Plus unlike Hougang, PE is originally a PAP ward.. On top of that, we also have our country's most powerful man--the PM--coming out to give a super lengthy "sweet talk" to promote his candidate in the final rally of the whole campaign..

If, despite all these unfavourable conditions, WP still manages to win (we'll know the outcome by tonight lor), this is gonna be a very very big blow to PAP; much bigger than the blow it suffered during the Houghang BE. Cos it would indicate that the LHL-led PAP is going downhill.. and gradually being overtaken WP liao..

so now WP did manage to win...confirmed a huge blow since it was a PAP ward before......hope this is enough to let LHL knows the last 2 years' performance sucks! but then maybe not....since they have always been disconnect from what the people want.

This time there is no margin. It's a victory for WP. Building more mrt track and giving baby bonus is not helping at all.

Adding more bus means more ppl will be brought in.
Adding track means more ppl will be brought in.
Adding more train frequency means more ppl will be brought.

LHL announcing that KPK will be appointed a minister after he wins is not a wise move. If KPK looks too good to be true, compared to a certain PAP candidate, why wasn't he fielded in 2011? Why is he in now, because of the ministerial-ship? Plus this person thinks every person owns 2 cars. Says a lot about the kind of person Dr Koh is. I don't think Singaporeans are dumb.

? They does not seem to mention about the co-driver concept any more ! Are they ready for the big time? or still thinking a way to pass the audit in Aljunied GRC?

Important thing to know is WP win because they are capable or because people simply do not like PAP and choose a alternative.
